About the Author
Over a decade in practice
Beth Miller, Ph.D. has been working with hundreds of people from all walks of life in her therapeutic practice, through teaching and facilitating groups. These people know first hand that it is possible to become more resilient, stronger and more capable of knowing and being themselves.
Her driving goal
After raising two sons, Beth went back to graduate school to earn a Masters and Ph.D. in Psychology. Her goal was to further understand the depths of the human being, and to use this knowledge to help people. She has been studying and teaching the art of resilience for over fifteen years. In addition, she has facilitated groups, engaged in public speaking, and led seminars throughout the country.
Beth Miller today
Beth has a private practice in San Francisco. She has taught psychotherapy and group process at the University of California in San Francisco and at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Beth has five grandsons who know to look in her pockets for chocolate. She lives in San Francisco.
